Experience Detroit's Masonic Temple!
Your group can experience a behind-the-scenes tour of Detroit's Masonic Temple with a 60-minute, walking tour of the interior of the Masonic Temple's exquisite beauty and extravagant architectural design.
As the largest building of its kind in the world, the Masonic Temple boasts over 1000 rooms, including two complete auditoriums: the 4,400-seat Masonic Temple Theatre and the 1,550-seat Scottish Rite Theatre, as well as a third theater that can be used for stage rehearsals.
Over the years, the main stage has hosted performances ranging from Judy Garland to The Rolling Stones, from Al Green, to the Metropolitan Opera to Disney's The Lion King. From opera to hip hop, the Masonic Temple has served as a prime venue for many of the world's hottest entertainers.
Come explore the history and mystery of Masonic Temple, which has hosted the world's biggest stars for more than 75 years. Known as a "hidden treasure" in downtown Detroit, the Masonic Temple also has two large ballrooms and a 14th century style chapel that can play host to ceremonies, fundraisers, banquets, trade shows and other events. Over the years, hundreds of balls, proms, weddings and special events have taken place in this famed building.

Tours are available by appointment only, for groups of 15 or more. Tours are offered Monday-Friday on non-event days and tickets are $6 per person.
